As a Lead Generation Specialist with our Mergers & Acquisitions team, you’ll assist with promoting Volaris Group and establishing relationships with business owners to develop leads for potential acquisition opportunities. This is a great role for a recent college grad or early career professional who’s interested in elements of both sales and marketing. We’re seeking an energetic and confident communicator with a business or marketing degree. We are a fast-growing, driven team chasing an ambitious growth goal so there will be opportunities to progress within the portfolio for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and analyze businesses to determine appropriate target opportunities
Conduct research using tools like LinkedIn and contact databases to find contact details
Understand and effectively communicate the benefits and value of being acquired by Volaris Group
Stay up to date on trends in software/technology and in the vertical markets we serve
Implement strategic lead generation/prospecting campaigns with target businesses, using outreach mechanisms like personalized email, marketing automation, outbound calling, and social media
Analyze campaign results and refine approach, including message effectiveness, in order to maximize success initiating communications with business owners, despite firewalls of assistants
Arrange introductory meetings between interested business owners and our mergers & acquisitions team
Grow and maintain Volaris Group’s proprietary Salesforce database
Achieve quarterly lead generation goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong performance in an undergraduate degree (preferably business, marketing, finance, economics, or communications)
Energetic, personable, and results-oriented
Confident self-starter with an ability to take initiative and problem solve
Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Able to build relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
Can flex personal style to adapt to different personalities
Good conflict resolution skills
Highly driven and intellectually curious
Proven record of leadership in extracurricular activities and/or through internships or co-ops
Can multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PPT, and Outlook

BONUS SKILLS

Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Marketo
Previous sales or marketing experience
Previous experience with SaaS or software sales
Strong data management & analysis skills
Competent financial skills to confidently assess acquisition targets
