How You’ll Help Us Connect the World.
This is a meaningful role responsible for leading, mentoring, and running a sales team, including driving revenue, growing market share, and developing of confirmed Customer and Partner relationships and new business development.
You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain executive level relationships with CommScope partners and drive cross-functional alignment with business units, operations, and corporate functions within CommScope. As a manager of other sales and technical sales professionals, you will be required to provide leadership and career development mentorship to employees within this organization.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Overseeing forecasting revenue and managing sales for the CommScope team.
Manage and lead all aspects of the CommScope Access Technology Sales Team within the account.
Manage a list of “must-win” with the goal of protecting and proliferating CommScope business.
Build and cultivate executive (C-level) relationships with the account to increase CommScope visibility.
Operate as key business contact within account for all CommScope-Access Technologies business-related issues.
Drive/enable direct business as appropriate.
Use Channel partners and the Overlay team as appropriate to increase coverage and cover all relevant market segments.
Find opportunities for new business, expansion into untapped markets.
Provide timely and accurate forecasting, as well as reporting on completed deals.
Prepare Account Plans where CommScope-Access Technologies will derive repeated quarter on quarter business.
Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for sales reviews with the sales management team.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
15 years of demonstrated ability in the telecommunications industry.
Strong eye for business and understanding of key investments that should be made to align to the account’s business while allowing CommScope to grow both top line and bottom revenue.
Strong technical understanding of customer network core and access architectures and ability to correlate this back to CommScope’s solutions while being able to articulate the value proposition to the customer
Good grasp of Data Center capabilities and functionality including consolidation, virtualization (systems, storage, applications, and networking), and cloud design.
Comfortable in communicating technology solutions to all levels ranging from customer engineers to C-level executives.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and validated experience collaborating effectively.
Proficient in working with a CRM.

Validated understanding of CommScope’s sales methodology.
