We are looking for an experienced Corporate & Real Estate Paralegal to support all aspects of Kasa’s real estate transactions, manage the contract portfolio, and form and maintain subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running high impact projects in a fast-paced technology startup.
You will report to the Senior Director of Legal Affairs and work closely with all members of the Legal and Finance teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders.

Day in the life of a Kasa Paralegal
Under the supervision of Kasa’s Senior Real Estate Counsel, assist with the drafting and negotiating of deal documents, including leases, hotel management agreements, SNDA’s, estoppel certificates, broker agreements, confidentiality agreements and NDA’s, and other ancillary documents.
Summarize material contract terms and track key dates and ongoing obligations. Work closely with the Finance, Partner Success, Real Estate and Operating teams to ensure compliance with contracts.
Form domestic subsidiaries, maintain registrations and documentation for all domestic and international entities, and build scalable processes for corporate management.
Maintain Kasa’s contract lifecycle management software (Ironclad).
Handle Legal team accounts payable and outside counsel spend tracking.
5+ years of real estate and corporate paralegal experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Technologically fluent and familiar with contract lifecycle management software
You are detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and exhibit flexibility when it comes to roles and responsibilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex Legal team projects into business-friendly terms
Travel is part of your DNA and you have a passion for the real estate, tech, and the hospitality industry
You have previous hotel industry experience
You have familiarity with Ironclad software for contract management
You have experience supporting internal risk management teams with insurance portfolios
In one year, you will succeed at Kasa by having:
Developed streamlined processes for managing Kasa’s contract and corporate entity portfolios
Provided significant leverage for scaling Kasa’s real estate transactions function
